Rome Day One and Two

Monday I went out near the Hotel and had lunch with MaryJo & Jim while Dan napped. Then he and I set off on foot and walked to the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, and the Trevi Fountain. It was sunny, hot about 88 and humid but fabulous. Dan was pretty impressed. We met up with MaryJo and Jim Moon and my friend Enzo, from the hotel, made a dinner reservation for us at Tre Scalini in Piazza Narvonna. We went down for dinner, sat outside and watched the people go bye. We were seranaded by musicians, a girl tapped danced for us, the vendors were selling goods and all the artists had their easels up to paint. Just magical. we had wonderful food, wine beer and tiramasu for desert. It was wonderful.
